Weekend Fun: Paul of Tarsus – The Manga
This is seriously rad.
Due to my “high art” background I would usually sneer at such an endeavor, but this reproduction of the story of Paul in Japanese manga form is actually pretty neat – and appears to be endorsed by the Catholic Church. Weird. But cool. My graduation from seminary is coming up, if anyone wants to give me a gift

I can’t offer as much fun as a graphic novel, but a more traditional piece of historical fiction that nevertheless is a provocative interpretation of the Apostle Paul entitled “A Wretched Man, a novel of Paul the apostle”. This edgy retelling of early church conflict has received high praise for its historical accuracy, authenticity, and readability.
